Dr. Bica will be moderating the School of Visual Arts Department of Humanities and Science Symposium entitled "The Art of War." The Symposium will feature noted combat artist Steve Mumford and a number of combat veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq reading their poetry on war and its aftermath.

Dr. Bica will  be speaking at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Bellmore New York on November 11, 2007 (Veterans Day) at 10 AM. His topic will be "Understanding the Warrior."
